Installing Your Titronic System
Every Titronic exhaust is a direct bolt-on for your specific chassis — no cutting, no tune required for cataloged configurations. Here's what to expect.
Before You Start
- Let the car cool fully — exhaust components stay hot long after the engine is off.
- You'll need a lift or ramps, a jack and stands if not using a lift, penetrating oil for factory hardware, a socket/wrench set, and a torque wrench.
- Have a friend or a shop's second set of hands — some sections are easier to maneuver with help.
General Install Steps
- Raise and secure the vehicle. Allow the exhaust to cool completely.
- Apply penetrating oil to factory exhaust hardware and let it sit.
- Remove the factory section(s) being replaced, working from the flange connections back.
- Test-fit your new Titronic components before final tightening — confirm alignment and clearance first.
- Install new gaskets and hardware at each joint, torquing to the specification included in your fitment instructions.
- Reconnect any electronic valve control components, if applicable, and confirm the wireless remote pairs correctly.
- Lower the vehicle, start the engine, and check every joint for leaks before driving.
Time Estimate
Most installs take 1–2 hours on a lift at any exhaust or performance shop. DIY installs are possible with ramps and basic tools — budget extra time if it's your first time under the car.
Always Follow Your Included Instructions
